Public hearing for load rate postponed till October

The Missouri Public Service Commission hearing for a special incremental load rate has been postponed until October 17th and 18th.

The hearing, originally scheduled for October 3rd and 4th, is for a case filed by Kansas City Power & Light's Greater Missouri Operations Company, which services counties including Andrew, Atchison, Buchanan, Daviess, DeKalb, Gentry, Grundy, Harrison, Holt, Livingston, Mercer, Nodaway, and Worth. GMO is seeking approval for a special load rate for Nucor in Sedalia.

Hearings will be held in room 310 of the Governor Office Building, 200 Madison Street in Jefferson City.
